Accounting Payables Clerk

This is a Contract position in New Westminster, BC posted April 5, 2021.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Payables Clerk to join our growing team at our Head Office in Concord, Ontario.

Room for growth in this position Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day 40.00 Hours per week, Bonus Profit Sharing, Group Health Benefit Plan & great work environment Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Main Duties and Responsibilities: The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for helping managing the company’s accounts payable and maintaining appropriate financial documentation through an organized system of filing.

Other responsibilities will include producing monthly accounting reports, making accurate monthly remittances, and administrative duties related to finance and bookkeeping.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
· Must be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and should be relatively quick on computers
· Display professionalism and pleasant phone demeanor
· Highly attentive to detail
· Sense of urgency to complete tasks in a quick yet accurate manner
· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal
· Strong cognitive skills (listening, analyzing and interpreting of data)
· Time and priority management and organizational skills
· Independent decision making and problem-solving skills
· Parts experience would be considered an asset
· Ability to take direction from direct supervisor without any personal issues
· 1 year of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and/or general bookkeeping
· Strong working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
· Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principals and Practices.

· Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately and quickly.

· High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
