We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our leadership team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position: This role is responsible for the financial control framework of the dealership as well as the overall performance and efficiency of the accounting department.

This Management role is responsible for ongoing planning and collaboration with other department leaders; executing on objectives, goals and growth strategies; ensuring compliance with process and procedures; motivating and coaching team members for performance; improving efficiencies; driving sales and championing financial controls.

The Manager in charge of the Accounting Department is known as the dealership Controller and is an expert in the areas of accounting and finance.

Controllers understand that the timeliness, efficiency & accuracy of our accounting departments is paramount to our success and will work hard to ensure that their department performs to a very high standard.

The Controller is required to analyze new and ongoing situations and collaborate with department managers to support planning and control activities required to prepare monthly financial statements.

To be successful in their role, the Controller must be an effective communicator, able to work with managers from a broad range of other disciplines.

Information must be conveyed to other managers in a simple, straightforward manner.

Much of the controller’s work involves consulting, business analysis and advising others within the organization.
