YOUR CHALLENGEReporting to the Administrator, the incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling all the accounting and financial activities of the organization, in accordance with the accounting principles, regulations, policies and laws.As an expert, you will play an advisory role to the general manager and the board of directors on budgetary issues and contribute to their decision-making.In collaboration with the general management, you elaborate and coordinate the annual budget of nearly $11million for a recently built nursing home with a capacity of 130 beds and hiring more than 190 employees.As a first step, your mandate will be to mobilize your team while ensuring the transition of the activities of the finance department to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the operations, analyzes and accuracy of the financial results.YOUR KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSPossess a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, accounting or finance.Candidate or Member in good standing of the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada Organization (CPA).Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a related field, including at least one (1) year in an employee management position.Master the various offices (Microsoft Office Suite) and financial software.Any other relevant experience and training could be considered.YOUR ABILITIESContribute to the common good by contributing and helping others to succeed and flourish.Demonstrate a good team spirit through your collaborative skills in addition to establishing and maintaining relationships of trust that are respectful, egalitarian, and constructive.Demonstrate leadership in the ability to plan, manage and prioritize to meet deadlines and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Have excellent interpersonal skills, focused on finding unifying solutions and geared towards positive collaboration with internal and external clients.Demonstrate rigorous accounting and analytical skills.Demonstrate integrity, maturity, tact and discretion with a concern for protecting the confidentiality of information at all times.Be able to manage various files simultaneously within the prescribed deadlines.Master the French and English language both orally and in writing.
