This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted April 22, 2021.

Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Senior Analyst, Treasury who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury Operations, you will be supporting all aspects of the treasury functions including cash management, banking and risk management.

In addition, you will execute treasury transactions, build cash flow models and recommend strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
·Support all aspects of the day to day cash management including Canadian and US cash positions.
·Evaluate input from various sources and prepare the daily and long-term cash flow forecasting, financial modeling and variance analysis.
·Evaluate the cash forecast versus actuals and recommend short and mid-term funding strategies.
·Prepare daily Treasurer’s Dashboard, economic commentaries, and other management reports as required.
·Support the updates to the treasury management system (Kyriba), including ensuring accuracy and relevance of the data.
·Assist in financial risk management including interest rate swaps and derivatives, and monitoring compliance to the FX hedging framework.
·Execute the short-term investments and borrowing, including calculation of interest accruals.
·Support period-end deliverables to Finance
·Manage bank accounts (opening, closing), analyze all bank fees, and recommend payment.
·Recommend controls, procedures and policies for cash management, investments, FX, hedging, transaction execution and reporting.
·Assist in trade finance including the issuance, reductions, cancellations and reporting of guarantees and bonds.

Requirements:
·University degree in Finance, Commerce or Business Administration
·Professional finance, treasury and/or accounting designation (CPA, CTP, CFA)
·Minimum of 7 years of related business experience.

·Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate cash management experience including banking, money market, foreign currency risk management, and trade finance
·Experience with treasury, banking and trade execution platforms; experience with Kyriba is an asset
·Experience in executing financial trades (e.G.

investments, FX, loans)
·Experience in internal controls, and compliance and process documentation
·Experience in system deployment
·Experience in financial modelling
·Knowledge on economic indicators and impact on financial and capital markets
·Proven ability to employ financial and non-financial analytical skills
·Proven ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information
·Proven ability to prioritize and deliver under tight timelines
