What will your typical day look like?

 

Our practice has global reach and you might find yourself working on a project for Montreal, Vancouver, Chicago, Hong Kong, Sweden, and many other interesting locations. Wherever it may be, you will:

•    Provide best-in-class Supply Chain planning and execution support to clients
•    Be an integral part of the client’s team to provide deep functional and industry expertise based on leading practices
•    Work collaboratively with client personnel to achieve targets and improve KPIs (forecast accuracy, forecast bias, production attainment, etc.)
•    Maintain and enhance configuration of advanced planning technologies to serve client’s planning needs
•    Perform planning related data analytics to identify risks and opportunities in client’s business and advise clients based on the findings
•    Provide clear and concise status updates and assist the leadership team with decision-making
•    Identify opportunities, author client deliverables, and present findings at the senior executive level
•    Build strong relationships with client counterparts and key stakeholders
•    Develop proposals to assist clients in improving their supply chain performance
•    Continuously improve professional skills through a variety of Deloitte and external training courses

A role with Deloitte’s Canadian Delivery Centre (CDC), in collaboration with Supply Chain & Network Operations practice is an opportunity to work on impactful projects, leverage state-of-the-art technologies, and develop your analytical thinking and business management skills.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

We are looking for someone who: 

•    Has a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of industry experience with Supply Chain Planning and is technology savvy and proficient with data analytics
•    Has minimum 1 year of experience using a planning tools from leading vendors like SAP, Oracle, JDA/Blue Yonder, Logility, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, etc.
•    Demonstrates expertise and hands on experience in some of the following Supply Chain Planning specializations: Assessment, Strategic Network Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Replenishment Planning, Finite Scheduling, Supply Chain Planning Application Selection and Implementation, Performance Metrics Analytics, etc.
•    Has implementation of Supply Chain Planning applications and technology (optional)
•    Has consulting experience (optional)
•    Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities 
•    Is committed to professional and client service excellence
•    Is a self-starter, who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines and constantly changing priorities, and operates with minimal supervision
Has superior verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in teams or as an individual contributor
•    Is able to travel up to 25% of the time in Canada and the USA, and globally when required
