We now have more than 200 employees spread over our headquarters in Berlin and offices in Nuremberg, Ottawa, Shanghai and Hong Kong.Why work with us:We offer competitive salaries along with great benefits:Company paid health, dental, and life insurance plansCompany matching contributions to retirement savings plan$150/year toward fitness activities We’re a small, fun team of professionals that are passionate about developing innovative products and being a leader in our industryOur North American Finance team, based in Ottawa, has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to be responsible for supporting department managers with budget vs actual reporting and other cost inquires, as well as various financial analyses and month-end reconciliations.Responsibilities:Developing and distributing monthly reporting to departmentsReviewing various financial impacting records to ensure information is correct and accurate, specifically Customers, Vendors, ItemsAssist in the implementation of various financial and accounting process automation projectsImplementing the system checks to reduce posting errors and record creation errorsPerform various account reconciliations and maintain monthly schedulesManage intercompany transactions between subsidiaries, specifically A/R and A/P and identify missing transactions or differencesReconciliation, analysis and booking of high volume entries using CSV importsAssist in providing explanations and support to departments on expenses and various inquiriesAssist with gathering information and sending out templates to department managers for budgeting and forecastingPerform other related duties as assignedYour Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Math or a related discipline; an accounting designation is an asset; Some experiencein accounting or financial analysis is an assetHighly proficient with MS Excel; experience in using NetSuite or similar ERP system as well as any coding languages or skill is a plusHighly organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skillsGood time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentCustomer Service orientation to work closely with and support internal customers This position will work remotely from home on a temporary basis during COVID If you are a fun, customer-focused Financial Analyst with strong system skills, send us your resume we’d love to hear from you!
