For over 65 years, our client has been a major supplier of quality products to the do-it-yourself, professional contractor, automotive and industrial markets across North/South and Central America.
They are now looking for a dynamic forklift operator to join their growing Kitchener team.
The main tasks: Operate an Order Picker forklift.Accurately receive and process daily shipments.Pick products for orders using an RF gun.Accurately pack and secure orders according to deadlines.Control inventory and general warehouse maintenance.Collaborate and communicate with supervisors and managers on a regular basis.Receive and inspect products to ensure order quality and completeness and report any issues.Maintain safety equipment.Actively model positive culture, teamwork and collaboration.Adhere to all health and safety regulations as per company policy.Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:Valid forklift license.Swing Reach certification.Shipping and receiving experience.Order Picker certification and experience.Knowledge of and experience with AS400, an asset.Experience with RF gun scanner.Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and safe work practices.
The ideal candidate will:Have excellent communication skills.Have basic mathematical and analytical skills.Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
