• PM shift, Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm
• Frequent overtime available;
• In house training (knife school)
• Hourly rate: $20.82/hr for the first 60 shifts
• Annual Increases based on Collective Bargaining Agreement
• $1000 referral bonus for each successful referral;
• Full benefits (health, dental and vision) after probation (60 shifts)
• Pension plan after probation (60 shifts) Main Duties:
• Maintain a sharp knife
• Cut pork primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging using a trimming knife;
• remove bones from pork using a boning knife;
• Cut pork into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.

• Ability to lift up to 15kgs Requirements:
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken English skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

• Experience using knives an asset but not necessary
• Should display a positive and proactive attitude.

• Ability to follow and execute instructions given by mangers/supervisors.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.

• Knowledge of food hygiene processes and reporting.
