Matrox: Technical Support Technician


This is a Full-time position in Dorval, QC posted January 30, 2021.

Position Summary You will be part of Matrox’ Information Technologies group whose goal is to meet the company’s IT related needs and to ensure its operations.Responsibilities Management of the users’ technical support calls.

First level technical support, by phone and on site, to the users who have troubles with their software applications or their computer peripherals.

Install, debug and maintain the software, computers, corporate laptops and printers.

Management of equipment loans and the stocks control system.

Process RMA of all computer related defective parts.

Qualifications College degree in computer science or in related fields.

2 years of experience in computer debugging with good customer service.

Autonomous, self-educated, resourceful, methodical and organized.

Good knowledge of computers and their components.

Good knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, TCP/IP protocol, computers and its components.

Strong customer service skills.

Bilingual (fluent communication in both French and in English).

CompTIA A+ certification is a desirable asset.
