is a community-based agency that promotes recovery and improved quality of life for people who experience mental health issues by providing affordable housing and individualized, flexible support services.As the Director of People and Organizational Excellence, you will join the Senior Leadership Team to assume responsibility for advising management on all matters related to employee-labour relations, human rights, complaint investigations, negotiations, integrated disability management, the human resources information system (HRIS) and the management of organizational development.

As a member of the leadership team, you will ensure legislative compliance and develop practices to support a diverse and high performing workforce.Partnering with staff and leaders you will help identify training needs, develop policy and procedures, mediate, counsel and interpret.

High ethical standards and a demonstrated commitment to ensuring the credibility and reputation of the organization are also required.What you Bring:Your CHRL/CHRE designation.A minimum of ten years in progressively responsible leadership rolesA range of previous experience in labour and employee relations, recruitment and retention, training, compensation, strategic planning, performance management, health and safety, and organizational development.An attentive administrative nature and sense of humour bring balance between building the HR strategy, fostering a satisfying and safe work environment and coordinating administrative functions.You demonstrate the ability to develop organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and expert recommendations to organizational strategic thinking and direction.With the ability to see opportunity, you lead, and support programming related to new initiatives and special projects, as a trusted, collaborative leader across multiple sites and varied levels.The proven ability to design and implement Human Resources strategies and programs including; performance management,change management, Staff Member engagement and retention.Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
