It is also preferred to have experience with design for thermal management in electronics and thermal simulation.The Senior Mechanical designer is expected to provide training and mentorship to more junior mechanical designers.Duties and responsibilities:Mechanical design for product development projectsResearch new technologies relevant to product roadmap and strategyAssist in the collection and definition of product requirementsPerform Technical, costing and risk analysis for new projectsMentorship and training of more Junior Mechanical DesignersLiaison with mold makers and other suppliers to ensure the project runs smoothlyProduce design documentation in accordance with team standardsPerform other tasks assigned by the Mechanical Team LeadMain skills required:Designing electronics enclosuresThermal Simulation of electronics designDesign for plastic injection molding, die casting, sheet metal designMust Have Qualifications:Strong interpersonal communication skills.Strong knowledge of Mechanical DesignExcellent Knowledge of SolidworksGood attention to detailExperience required:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and/or experience.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mechanical DesignCompensation details:In addition to the competitive compensation package, with unique work environment that is designed for people who like to work hard and play hard too Here are just a few examples:On-site gym and weight room with personal trainersRRSP matchingComprehensive extended group health and dental benefits
