We aim for excellence.Description du posteReporting to the Brand Manager, the incumbent will be the media and community resource person at the AIM Saint John site.

He will have to organize meetings, respond to media requests and develop key communications messages.

In collaboration with the General Manager, he will also ensure the alignment of the different departments during decision-making.Public relationsAct as a resource person for the media and the communityManage requests from the mediaCoordinate interviews and act as spokesperson in certain casesDevelop key messages and guidelines for interviews and for various communications in collaboration with the General Manager and the Site DirectorCoach the managers who will participate in the interviewsWrite the various external communications (press statements, post social media)Organize and supervise media eventsEnsure alignment with different departments (Operations, Legal, Brand Manager) for decision makingSupport the General Manager in relations with the various organizations (local government, environmental organization, the city, etc.)Community managementPlan and organize CLC meetings (agenda, members present, invitations, etc.)Facilitate meetingsWrite the discussions (minutes by minutes) of the parties during the meetingsDevelop and maintain a platform for communication with citizensParticipate in the development of the company’s approach strategy towards the communityCollect feedback from the community and share it with stakeholdersPropose solutions to meet the demands of the communityQualifications8 to 10 years of relevant experienceBachelor in communication / public relationsDemonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood knowledge of social media and new communications technologiesAdaptabilityInformations complémentairesSchedule: Full time, Monday to FridayDynamic team and friendly atmosphere; Group Insurance after 3 months of employment; RRSP with employer contribution after 6 months of employment;
