MISSION OF THE POSITION The Digital & PR Coordinator will work closely with the entire marketing team to develop effective digital marketing and PR strategies in a luxury environment utilizing such techniques as social media, web analytics, affiliate marketing, and influencer marketing among others.

The Digital & PR Coordinator will also be in charge of developing and updating content for Valmont’s social media, along with key objectives to to drive traffic to the brand website.

The Digital & PR Coordinator needs tohave a strong knowledge of traditional PR, influencer marketing and digital marketing in a luxury environment with the mission to develop strong brand awareness with the support of PR agencies.

TASKS & DUTIES Digital & PR: Connect overall business objectives with traditional PR and digital marketing initiatives.

Drive new website visitors strategically to increase online sales leads and build brand reputation.

Analyze key metrics for branding and traffic acquisition Implement digital media campaigns and pr campaigns aligned to marketing and sales and recruitment goals.

Create digital content plans for website, blogs, social media, etc Stay up-to-date with social media and digital media advancements.

Generate monthly reports on our marketing campaign’s performance Prepare and present digital media analytics and reports to upper management.

Manage and track highly visible blogger/influencer/ambassador campaigns and related events for the brand and the product launches.

Develop and maintain relationships with established and emerging influencers, traditional media and new media across publications, social and digital platforms.

Responsible for award submissions and identifying potential sponsorship opportunities to enhance the brand image.

COMPETENCIES Highly collaborative; working with and through others in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail imperative Ability to leverage PR and digital marketing to achieve desired business results Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities Outstanding, demonstrated written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking Excellent organizational skills and multiple task management Excellent knowledge of Office Suite Self-motivated and team oriented Deep understanding of all relevant digital and PR best practice Fluent English and French in both writing and speaking QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications and/or internet marketing preferred Minimum 2 years experience in digital agency or within a digital marketing team Experience in the beauty and/or luxury industry is required Deep understanding of digital marketing and PR including strategy Deep understanding of all relevant social media best practices OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATIONS Should be able to travel freely throughout North America.
