Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking Community Health Nurses (CHN) to provide service toour client in a number of areas including: immunization, disease and injury prevention, healthsurveillance, protection and promotion, infection control, and emergency preparedness andresponse.

CHN’s work as a member of a multidisciplinary primary health care team in a primary care/clinic setting.

Work includes individual or group appointments, public health/immunization campaigns, and individual or group health education sessions within or outside the health services facility.This contract would be full time from April 19th to October 31, 2021.Successful candidates will possess 3 full time equivalent years of clinical experience within the last 5 years in nursing practice, including comprehensive experience with immunization procedures/protocols.Candidates must also possess: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university Registered Nurse license from the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level COTHER CERTIFICATIONS (which Bayshore can facilitate) Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within the last two (2) years) Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within the last two years)Advantages to working in this environment:Enjoy a great work/ life balance with daytime hours Monday to Friday.No evening or weekend shifts required.Paid on an hourly basisEligibility for benefits with more than 22.5 hours per week worked.
