Join us on an exciting project and make history The Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project  is a multi-year, multi-phase project with an initial focus on a new inpatient/outpatient tower, and support facilities building expansion and renovation.

This project is complex and will be comprised of new construction, demolition, renovations and various upgrades.

Upon completion, the Burnaby campus will have two new patient care towers, an expanded emergency department, a new cancer treatment centre, and ultimately increase its acute care beds from 259 to 400.

As a Client Partner Capital Development Strategic Change you will advise on change strategies, approaches, provide project and change management services and support the team.

You will bring a systems view and apply tried methods and approaches to high priority large-scale change initiatives.

Your experience in strategic change, organizational development, and project management, and understanding of the healthcare system and delivering capital redevelopment projects will be key to success.

Build on your experience as you: Facilitate Project Support & Results Office (PSRO) operating processes, and standards in planning, design and implementation of capital programs through Project Management processes and Optimization Support the PSRO and the portfolio of projects ensuring the successful transition from project delivery to operational implementation Plan and develop business and project management processes, workflow models, standards and tools in support of project service delivery teams. Lead development, maintenance and distribution of reports in relation to project management controls.

Provide expert-level project and change services to clinical and operational stakeholders on system-transforming capital development initiatives from idea generation to planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Develop and implement the assigned change initiative for capital projects and Fraser Health, and provide coordination throughout all phases.

Provide progress monitoring and reporting to clinical and operational stakeholders; develop and manage project tracking material and online resources for the initiative; identify, manage, mitigate risks, and facilitate issue resolution.

Assess the impact of change initiatives from a systems perspective and manage the impacts and interdependencies with other initiatives happening in the capital development and Fraser Health.

Partner with sponsor stakeholders in developing and delivering project presentations, briefings, reports, and status updates.

Participate in Fraser Healthâs Capital Redevelopment project knowledge networks and organizational capacity building.

Are you motivated to join our team?

We will be looking for you to have the following: Masterâs degree in Health, Business or related discipline supplemented by PMP, PROSCI and/or CCMP certification/designation; and Five (5) years’ recent experience delivering results using project and change management methods in a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Three (3) years in a leadership capacity in a PMO and/or capital redevelopment project environment.

Experience working on complex public infrastructure projects with complex procurement models, such as Design-Build, Design-Build-Finance, and/or Construction Management contracts is deemed to be an asset.

Valid BC driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes.
