About the Seekers CentreThe Seekers Centre is an innovative healthcare facility treating chronic pain.Our clinical team includes doctors, nurses and allied health providers.We combine evidence-based medical treatment with Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) therapies and innovative approaches to whole-person care.Our patients and staff enjoy a caring and supportive work environment in a green eco-clinic that promotes health and well-being.Our unique approach emphasizes the targeted treatment of blockages, which are areas of dysfunction related to prior injuries.We aim to build our capacity to measuring outcomes to support the blockage theory of disease, which may be compared to germ theory but remains unknown to modern medicine.

This is the focus of our emerging research program aimed at measuring patient-reported outcomes.

This makes the Seekers Centre a dynamic, innovative workplace that offers a unique opportunity for professional development and personal fulfillment.We are inviting applications for the position of Clinic Manager.

If successful, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and implementing changes and special projects to ensure that the administrative team achieves organizational goals in pursuit of our vision and mission.Your work will be self-directed and independent but you will report to the clinic owner and medical director.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN RUNNING MEDICAL, DENTAL OR HEALTHCARE FACILITY.Duties and Responsibilities
●Human resource management, including strategic planning, job descriptions, contracts, recruitment, evaluation, mentoring and support, occupational health and safety
●Financial management, including supervision of payroll, provincial and third-party insurance billings, bill payment, bookkeeping, accounting and the development and maintenance of an annual budget
●Operational management, including developing and reviewing procedures for facility maintenance, reception, administrative, and clinical tasks with special attention to compliance with regulatory requirements
●Outreach and communications initiatives directed at patients and other stakeholders, including healthcare organizations, hospitals, outpatient clinics, insurers, medicolegal and providers using a strategic approach that leverages events, print, online and social media, website and digital marketing management
●Strategic planning, including scheduling and contributing to annual and quarterly reviews of our strategic vision, mission, goals and deliverables
●Develop and maintain management systems that include finance, human resources, operations and marketing checklists and controls
●Proactively identify gaps and propose solutions for continuous improvement of capacity and quality of patient care and performance and planning and development of special projects and new initiatives
●Foster a positive culture that emphasizes teamwork, caring and a commitment among all staff to the goals of the organization and of each individualEducation and Experience
●Bachelors degree
●Demonstrated experience in the area of management and operations management
●Project Management experience
●Demonstrated experience in community and/or clinical settings
●Demonstrated ability to work independently
●Demonstrated sound judgment and problem solving ability
●Current Ontario Drivers’ License and access to a vehicle
●Canadian residency mandatory The knowledge and skills we are looking for include:
●Superior leadership, organization, evaluation, communication and interpersonal skills
●Possess organization, communication, leadership, coaching and delegation skills
●Proficiency in the use of the computer hardware and software, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
●Desire and ability to update knowledge and skills through various means including technology-based opportunities, courses, workshops and conferences
●Excellent verbal and written communication skills
●Exhibit an ability to be open and non-judgmental
