We are looking for an Human Resources, Administrator who is responsible for providing administrative support to operational and functional workforce leadership in order to maximize the productivity and effectiveness of the business.

In addition, this role is accountable to ensure business systems data is being effectively maintained.

Reporting to the Human Resources, Team Lead, located in Lac de Gras Mine Site, you will be working on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation in the interim rotational schedule on a 12 hours per shift day with the potential that this changes to a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation in the future, once the COVID-19 pandemic normalizes.

You will be responsible for:
· Maintaining operational and functional workforce leave records and timesheet entries;
· Entering, generating and maintaining data into business systems as required;
· Assisting with the completion and submission of statutory reports as required;
· Ensuring compliance is consistent with Diavik and Rio Tinto’s statutory policies and privacy requirements;
· Maintaining filing and records consistent with Diavik document control procedures and statutory requirements;
· Managing end to end service requests for stakeholders (e.g.

RTTMS tickets, etc.)
· Providing HR administrative support to managerial employees or groups in the organization;
· Assisting with the identification and implementation of business improvements with respect to systems, administration and document control.

What you’ll bring
· A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
· Strong safety mindset and track record;
· Minimum 2 years of administrative experience;
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
· Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and active-listening skills;
· Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team;
· Proven proficiency in Time Entry systems like SAP; Dayforce, ADP etc.

· Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
· Proven proficiency in office management procedures and protocols including document control, data entry and accounting.

Northern residency and experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the North, are assets.

Hiring priority will be given to qualified applicants who are beneficiaries of the DDMI Participation Agreement Groups and to qualified applicants residing in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Territories.
