The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new features for our hosted applications working in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP).Position ResponsibilitiesArchitectural design of our learning environmentTechnical designand implementation of new features that meet evolving client requirementsProvide support to our Tier 2 technical support specialists and Quality Assurance teamMentor other developersRequired Skills & Experience3+ years experience of full stack development (PHP 7+, MySQL/SQL, JavaScript, CSS)Excellent software design and object-oriented programming skillsUnderstanding of GPL and other open-source licensing models and frameworksExperience with verification and quality assurance processes and methodologiesProven ability to work independently without direct supervisionExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience with Docker, Git, and PHPStormExperience with a cloud-based environment (Amazon AWS)Experience in eLearningExperience with Moodle and/or other learning management systemsEducation and CertificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
