If you have 3+ years of experience on ABB and Fanuc robots, with strong Allen Bradley and Sysmac Studio PLC knowledge and are a results-driven and hands-on individual, we invite you to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for modifying existing automation control systems as well as designing, estimating, and commissioning new automation control systems integrated with Robots based on PLC’sImplement Safety Category 4 for all required installations, presses and robotics work cellsIntegrate equipment with robots and various testing and monitoring instrumentsElectrical/Controls Design PLC/HMI/Robot programming/troubleshooting, debugging, testing and commissioningTroubleshoot process problems and initiative and/or participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and quality improvementsMaintain and service automated work cells; mechanical and hydraulic pressesSet up and conduct predictive and preventative maintenance programs for required equipmentKey Qualifications/RequirementsDegree/diploma in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical EngineeringMin 3 Yrs’ exp in manufacturing/industrial settingElectrical License an asset, good knowledge of ON Electrical Code/Electrical CircuitsExtensive knowledge in PLC Programming Allen Bradley, Omron (Sysmac Studio), Vision systems, HMI, AutoCAD, EthernetExperience with:design and integration of machine safety circuits, safety PLC’s and applications (ABB Jokab)motion control architectures preferably around Allen Bradley Kinetix and/or VFD drive systemsData Tracking using Barcode Scanners or RFIDFanuc, ABB, and or Kuka robots an assetStrong communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsAdditional InformationAccommodations for disabilities in relation to the job selection process are available upon request.
