Database DeveloperWe are currently looking for a Database Developer/Engineer to work for a recognised investment bank in Montreal.The role is within the transactional data team, managing critical trade capture via databases in the derivatives trading reports function.
The team manages large Big Data volumes, always delivering multiple projects at once globally making communication skills important for this role.Developers use an agile approach, scrum and XP practices, designing, enhancing and developing databases across different database environments.
Database infrastructure engineering, application DBA functions, development (stored procedures, ETL, tools) and security.Preferred experience using: DB2 Linux version 10.5 or above (SQL, Temp tables, plan explains, MQTs, MDCs, referential integrity constraints) and Sybase 15.7 or above.
Skills in Python or Perl are also important.
Knowledge of a database modelling tool can also be helpful.Database Developer
