We are actively looking for a senior Java Full-stack developer to join our team in Montreal.

As a Senior developer, you will work for our client, an international investment bank.

The position requires at least 5 years of experience with Java programming and significant experience with a front-end framework (Angular or REACT).

You will work in a complex and challenging environment (AGILE, TDD, CI/CD).

Responsibilities: As part of a team that develops software solutions for major financial markets in the Americas, Asia and Europe, your responsibilities will include: Produce new features in the context of the decommissioning of a vendor tool.

It’s not just about writing code, but also making design/architecture decisions, testing, tracking quality metrics, and producing documentation.Demonstrate functionality to stakeholders and the product owner (Product Owner) to gain a strong understanding of the field and get feedback on the work providedParticipate in ” Scrum” related activities, such as daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, retrospective Sprint, and demos.Deliver solutions according to our standards and provide operational support if necessary.Technical Skills:SQL SQL Server – PL-SQLJava, REST APIAngular Competencies:Ability to work with complex information systemsWritten and oral autonomy in EnglishSense of organization, methodical, analyticalCommunication skillsplus: Knowledge of the market finance universe (equity markets, interest rates, derivatives, etc.) Educational Requirements:Education and level of experience: University degree: Computer SciencePlus: Experience in corporate and investment banking or finance an asset languages :English: mandatoryPlus: French
