Salesforce and Technology Specialist

This is a Contract position in Richmond Hill, ON posted February 27, 2021.

We are looking for a Salesforce and Technology Specialist to be located in our Woodstock, NB office.

The Salesforce Administrator role will support our CRM software and deliver innovative ideas that will help maintain and strengthen our business.

We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interact with internal groups and stakeholders to support enhancements, fixes and deliver second level support to our front line.

Key responsibilities include:
• Oversight for administrative functions including changes to workflows and reporting objects
• Develop and maintain documentation relating to Xplornet’s deployment
• Proactively manage systems, responding in a timely manner to mission critical outages
• Liaising with internal and external parties to understand new releases and their impact on the user community
• Liaising with the Service Desk team to provide training, process information and support for technical releases and projects
• Representation and support activities relating to technical cross functional team projects
• Incident investigation and diagnosis
• Resolution and recovery of assigned Problems
– on phone diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Monitoring the status and progress towards resolution of assigned Problems
• Keeping affected business partners informed in regards to progress
• Working to achieve team wide Service Levels for the organization
• Participating in the development of and ensuring ongoing adherence to proper ITIL processes for configuration, incident, problem, change, and asset management including identification of process improvements
• Demonstrate professional behavior while working with business groups and IT groups
• Flexibility in hours as some activities may require off peak hours work
• Knowledge of telecommunications sector
• Knowledge of large scale Customer Care operations an asset
• Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will possess:
• Post-secondary education in a related field combined with 5 years of relevant work experience
• Positive attitude, willingness to apply hands on approach
• Experience working as part of an operational team.

• Ability to deal professionally at all levels of the organization.

• Grasps new material quickly, has proven initiative in independent research, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

• Willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with executive, business clients and other IT teams.

• Excellent communication (oral/written), presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.

• Good understanding of Internet technologies and protocols (FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.).

• Computer hardware and software knowledge
• Good knowledge of computer security systems
• Experience with SharePoint services, SalesForce and Zuora considered an asset As a condition of employment and in order to comply with industry related data security standards, this position is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.
