Job Summary: The Marketing Retention Specialist, CRM, is responsible for creating and managing campaigns and initiatives as they directly relate to the customer lifecycle.

Primary responsibilities include: developing, implementing, and refining customer segmentation and one to one marketing activity across the organization.

This position is instrumental in contributing to the BCLC CRM experience, as well as expanding our expertise in the CRM space.

Key Accountabilities: Develops and implements customer direct marketing strategies and plans, integrating and aligning business unit strategies in each campaign.

Contributes to the development of an enterprise lifecycle strategy, making recommendations and advocating for portfolio needs when appropriate.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor all key components of CRM programs including: cross channel promotions, customer segmentation, journey building, campaign briefs, and reporting.

Monitors multiple lifecycle campaigns, proactively resolving issues and implementing action plans as needed across channels (social, email, direct mail, and push).

Executes and measures CRM lifecycle programs on both an aggregate and on an initiative basis, in order to demonstrate proof of performance and the value of player development activity.

Acts as a subject matter expert, implementing best practices and staying on top of industry trends and emerging techniques, as it pertains to CRM.

Proactively builds, develops, and maintains strong working relationships with various internal departments, business partners, suppliers, regulatory and government bodies.

Minimum Required Qualifications: Education and Experience A university degree in a related discipline such as business or marketing; 3-5 years related progressive experience; Salesforce experience or related CRM experience is an asset.

Proven results and demonstrated experience in the area of CRM and customer segmentation; An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Technical Requirements Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, practices, techniques and tools in the areas of CRM and data-driven marketing; Solid understanding of BCLC’s customer experience; Solid business acumen with the ability to analyze key business opportunities and develop creative solutions; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally within a larger team; Strong problem solving and analytical skills; Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in ambiguous situations; Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Understanding of the B.C.

and Canadian gaming industry is an asset.

Additional Information: Effective November 22, 2021, BCLC requires all employees to be fully vaccinated (as defined by Health Canada).
