Employment Type: Permanent Employment Term: Full Time Posting Date: July 13, 2021 Closing Date: July 23, 2021 21:30 Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends In a 4 week rotation: 12 shifts of 11.78 hours, 1 shift of 8.00 hours Rate of Pay: $37.080 to $48.130 (6 step range) Union Name: SUN Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs).

The RN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and professionals associated with P/R/Cs care.

The RN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms.

The RN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own professional competence.

Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) Experience Two years experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Interpersonal skills Organizational skills Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice Additional Information The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC & VSC during recruitment and selection process.
