[Remote] Inbound Marketing Specialist


This is a Contract position in Vancouver, ia posted June 20, 2021.

We’re looking for a high-performing inbound marketing specialist with experience in inbound and demand generation to join our global marketing team.

The role is full-time and remote-based, preferably in Canada.

Working closely with the marketing team lead, you will play a critical role in growing and optimizing our inbound marketing funnels.

From planning, executing, and managing lead generation campaigns, to managing social media, editorial calendar, and email newsletters, you will be responsible for growing our brand reach and marketing-influenced revenue.

The role requires a deep understanding of the inbound marketing process and a track record of developing and managing lead generation campaigns.

You will have to be self-driven and goal-oriented, with strong time management skills to push projects forward and great problem-solving skills to figure things out in a fast-moving startup environment.

You will also need to be a great team player and communicator to collaborate with content creators, sales and customer success representatives.

You will report to Kaiterra Marketing Lead.

Responsibilities: Develop overall inbound marketing and lead gen strategies together with marketing and sales team leads Design, build, and execute inbound campaigns to drive prospective customers through our’ marketing funnel, including but not limited to gated content creation, landing page optimization, CTA implementation, etc.

Manage and optimize email marketing, CRM, and lifecycle nurture tactics with A/B test to reduce friction and increase conversion rates throughout the customer journey Collaborate with inbound sales and customer success team to optimize the cross-function process to improve funnel efficiency and customer satisfaction Conduct customer, competitor, and product research to understand the market trend and landscape, to constantly review and improve our marketing strategy and tactics Manage our social media profiles and presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc., and expand content reach by proactively engaging industry channels and brand mentions Collaborate with internal content creators to run our content calendar to build Kaiterra’s thought leadership in air quality monitoring, and source content as needed by hiring writers and multimedia content creators Monitor and improve SEO performance for the overall website, landing pages, and blog content Monitor, report, and analyze key inbound metrics to identify risks and opportunities Support other marketing projects aligned with the overall goals of the marketing team, such as expos, product launches, etc.

Your Career Progression at Kaiterra: Within 1 month of joining Kaiterra, you will have learned about our team members and work culture, and you will be comfortable working with all of the tools we use internally and have gained a comprehensive understanding of our products and our value to our clients.

Within 3 months, you will be deeply involved in Kaiterra’s inbound marketing projects and leading at least one of the key initiatives we are working on at the time, responsible for driving it forward and accountable for the outcomes.

Within 1 year, you will have demonstrated an excellent record in the projects and initiatives you lead and execute, and will be in charge of all inbound marketing initiatives and campaigns with minimal guidance.

You will also be playing a critical role in planning demand generation strategies for the coming year.

Within 3 years, you will be leading the inbound marketing strategy at Kaiterra and managing a small team.

Skills and Requirements: 3 years of inbound marketing and demand generation experience, ideally in a B2B and tech environment Experience with campaign management, tracking, a/b testing, and reporting Experience working with marketing automation software, preferably HubSpot Good understanding of content marketing strategies and SEO Strong project management experience with great attention to detail Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Self-driven, and goal-oriented individual with the ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced startup environment Bonus: basic HTML skills, basic design skills including graphic design and video editing You will be a great member of the Kaiterra team if you are also: Not afraid to take challenges and try different things Driven, persistent, and fun-loving Passionate about learning Taking ownership of problem-solving and delivering outcomes Mission-driven and want to make a real impact on our environment Sounds like you?
