Positions available in the following locations*********** Tucson, ArizonaBridgeport, West VirginiaMUST HAVE WORKED FOR AAA-CANADA FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR IN THE PAST THREE YEARS!*****The Structures Technician will troubleshoot, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft sheet metal components, composites, and hydraulics.

Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.In your role, you will:Adhere to General Work RequirementsComply with environmental health/safety policies/procedures, participate in 5-S activities, and perform work in a safe and timely manner.Remove/install aircraft components as requiredFabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft partsPerform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detachedAssist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structuresAssist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraftOperate ground support equipment as requiredAssist with aircraft component repairPerform mechanical/electrical removals and installations as requiredMay assist with maintenance at off-site locationsAssist in wing removal as requiredAssist maintenance as requiredInspect confined areas of the airframeAssist in designing, modifying, and welding metal fixtures as requiredAssist in providing time estimates as requiredFabricate sheet and/or composite componentsQualificationsAs our ideal candidate,You have a minimum of 3 years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experienceYou have an A Certification, or A & P Certificate or Repairman CertificateYou have completed Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schoolingYou have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawingsYou have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft statusYou own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of toolsYou must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as requiredYou have the ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidaysYou have the ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideYou have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)You have basic PC skillsYou have a minimum of 1 year of corporate/commercial jet experienceYou have the demonstrated ability to train other employeesPowered by JazzHRtdAA3H9nTI
