Maintenance Planner Be a part of an organization that is safety-driven and values inclusion Great opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the operation Coastal lifestyle; the role is based in the beautiful community of Kitimat, BC About the role We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to ensure all weekly maintenance activities are planned, and all requirements identified to ensure the efficiency of the maintenance crew and the reliability of the equipment.

The key success to this position will be the applicant’s ability to manage multiple resources/requests, exercise sound decision-making, and deliver planned work to the committed timeframes.

This role is a great opportunity for an organized and team-oriented individual to advance the maturity of the maintenance team and coordinate all maintenance work for the Plant Services maintenance team.

Reporting to the Planning Team Lead, and working a desirable Monday to Friday schedule, you will be responsible for: Acting with humility, honesty, integrity and a commitment to safety.

Demonstrating commitment and compliance to all safety policies and procedures to ensure zero injuries or incidents Prioritising work with the Supervisors, Superintendents and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills; Producing weekly maintenance schedules which are practical, with all obligations identified, with accurate timelines and all necessary materials and equipment available, which includes coordination with the warehouse team for delivery Prioritizing and managing maintenance outstanding work Facilitating meetings; scheduling of outside contractors; and providing relevant job packages Applying shutdown management best practices.

Participation in Zero Based Budget development; Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure there is effective communication of the plans to ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place.
