Field Service Technician/Customer Support AgentOur client a leading provider of food service technology solutions is currently searching for a Field Service Technician/Customer Support Agent to join their team in Quebec City.This is a work from home – in the field role and a great opportunity to work for a well known company with a great culture.Responsibilities:Installs and services equipment for assigned customers.Visits customer locations to resolve technical issues as required.Trains new customers on basic operation and maintenance of equipment.Ensures the design and delivery of technical training meets the needs of customers.Provides feedback on equipment operation to management teamProvides telephone support and timely resolution to customer issues.Assists customers with general programming and or operational errors.Makes suggestions to improve operation efficiencies.Completes manual work orders, check lists and documentation as requiredMaintains a safe work environment through proper utilization of tools and equipmentProvides feedback to management team, while communicating status and issues to team lead as required.Skills and Qualifications:Two to three-year College Diploma, with focus on Electronics, Computer Science or Automotive, A+ Certification or equivalency.Bilingual, Fluent in both French & EnglishAbilityto communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences andeffectively and collaborate well with interfaced departments.Ability to courteously exchange factual information in a customer complaint environmentExcellent organization skills
