Description of the jobFlightLink is a product line leveraging aircraft data through a set of functionalities and services allowing A220 aircraft operators to increase the awareness of their fleet health, and to optimize their maintenance and operations.

The FlightLink services allow the customer to; configure its aircraft data recording, perform automatic aircraft data delivery, access and analyze its aircraft data, set notification on precise events, program detection algorithm for failure/degradation/trends, and alert the right stakeholders in a timely manner.

FlightLink also includes support for onboard software and network security for A220 aircraft.You will be part of the A220 FlightLink Engineering Group responsible to sell, develop and support the FlightLink infrastructure and FlightLink services delivered to A220 aircraft customers.As a Specialist A220 Aircraft Data your mandate will be divided between 2 main responsibilities; 1 You will explore data from A220 aircraft and define algorithms to support fleet monitoring, its operation and specific aircraft troubleshooting activities.

In this role, you will define the dataset to be recorded by the aircraft, analyze aircraft / fleet data, define detection algorithms, define meaningful results and evaluate the results.

You will be the data subject matter expert within a multidisciplinary team.2 As an A220 Aircraft Network Security specialist, you will participate in the development and maintenance of processes and tools to monitor and manage the security of aircraft systems in support of continued airworthiness.

As part of his mandate, the candidate will make a technical contribution relating to the security of aeronautical systems, such as potential threats, threat vectors, countermeasures, etc.

He will also be responsible for evaluating FlightLink solutions for their compliance with industry cybersecurity regulations and standards.In your role, you will:Participate in the definition and implementation of predictive maintenance algorithms; Participate inthe definition, creation and implementation of data visualization models; Check and validate algorithms with a perspective of continuous improvement; Evaluate and propose new initiatives related to the efficiency of data analysis of A220 aircraft; Interface withinternal groups (engineering, in-service engineering, maintenance engineering, customer service) to identify opportunities for data algorithms; Participate inthe analysis of security logs extracted from various aircraft systems, Investigate security events detected at the aircraft level, Maintain a security log analysis system for the A220 fleet, Keep abreast of new or potential cyber security threats, Participate in defining the security perimeters of aircraft and systems, establishing a baseline of potential threats, their propagation vectors and their countermeasures.As our ideal candidate,You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology (IT) and you have at least three (3) years of experience in the field of aerospace systems or in a computer environmentYou know the Python, R, or Java codingYou have experience with data visualization (Tableau or other)You have experience in interfacing with a database (SQL and NoSql,)You have a good idea of the threats and countermeasures associated with computer systems,You want to learn and are motivated by data mining, aeronautics and ITGood oral and written skills in French (necessary) and English (asset),You must be able to work with minimal supervision, work in a team and have skills in project management.You should also be a person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and sound engineering judgment.You must be able to travel if necessaryPlease upload your resume in French and English.As a leader in our field, Airbus Canada Limited Partnership provides relocation assistance for qualified positions and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
