The partnership markets, manufactures and supports the A220 Family worldwide.

Reporting directly to the Program Manager Configuration Management, the jobholder will be responsible for all milestones to execute on program change requests.

The IWT Lead is the overall accountable focal point within Airbus Canada for a given work packageThe jobholder interfaces with all functional teams on the program with a heavy emphasis on developing change management implementation, costing and pricing plans, leading the implementation of program strategy and be the focal point to the sales and contracts teams for program commitments to customers The IWT Lead is accountable for the delivery of the components in line with Program requirement to time, cost (NRC & RC), quality, performance (weight) and maturity targets.This involves the management of the specified work package projects through all its phases, i.E.

development, detail design, parts manufacturing and industrialization.

It also involves the management of the corresponding suppliers.

In your role, you will:Management of the A/C configuration of a specified work package in an IPT approach (Integrated Project Team)Plan and manage lead-time between opening and closing of a change request passing from defining a solution to incorporation in production and in-service.Ensures inputs for resolution of contract updates and commercial issues through procurement teams Prepare reports on the teams’ effectiveness, outputs and recommendations, and KPIs and report to senior management Propose, negotiate and cascade performance objectives (Quality, Planning & Lead time)Control implementation of make or buy strategyRepresent the Program Management office in many internal decision making forums for program strategy and customer commitment implementation as well as in internal sales strategy meetings Anticipate crisis or disruptions and if needed, lead the necessary recovery actionsImplement robust risk and opportunity management systemEnsure consistent top level decision making in line with operational needs and escalate issues when requiredShows leadership by inspiring and motivating multi-disciplinary teams, internal as well as external to Airbus, including Engineering, Industrial, Quality, Procurement, Suppliers, Work package Managers and for maintaining adequate staff levels in line with Program requirements.

QualificationsAs our ideal candidate, You hold a bachelor degree or diploma in Management/Engineering or 10 years of equivalent experiencePMP is an assetYou have a minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project managementYou have a technical background in aircraft development and commercial operationsYou have a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, ProjectYou are comfortable in representing the program strategy in meetings and ensuring that the A220 program strategy is adhered to both inside and outside of the program organizationYou have good analytical skills, planning, problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skillsYou show an open mind and a great ability to work as a team playerIn addition, you must have a sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomyYou are fully bilingual (spoken and written) in French and EnglishYou are patient, positive and have perseverance along with good organization skillsPlease upload your resume in French and English.As a leader in our field, Airbus Canada Limited Partnership provides relocation assistance for qualified positions and a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
