ABC Technologies’ core business as an Automotive Tier 1 supplier is in the Design, Development and Production of plastic automotive systems and components for OEMs worldwide.THE OPPORTUNITY:Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Millwright will perform activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment to produce quality product.

They will contribute and participate in activities related to preventative and unscheduled maintenance, as well as environmental, health and safety, and other special initiatives by performing the following duties, with a goal of providing exceptional customer satisfaction through the delivery of great service to customers at all times.

This position is a night shift role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:Support all maintenance activities on all primary and support equipment.

Maintenance and support of all Maintenance related logs and records.Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs on all primary and support equipment.

This shall include some minor subcontractor coordination and any other support teams.Guide and support the maintenance team and provide suitable guidance where necessary to ensure that junior maintenance team members are capable of performing delegated tasks.Communicate with immediate supervisor(s), other maintenance team members and production personnel of issues related to maintenance and safe operation of equipment.Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.Repair or replace defective machinery parts.Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.Awareness of all health and safety issues related to each task as well as all regulations and requirements.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:Minimum Qualifications:Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification/Red Seal Endorsement.Ability to work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic processes.Ability to perform OAW (Oxy-acetylene welding).Capable of working independently and effectively communicating with all team members.Provide technical guidance to junior team members, where required.Able to read, write and communicate in English.Able to lifts up to 23kg (50lbs).Available for overtime.Able to work well under pressure and demonstrate attention to detail.WHY ABC?In addition to a workplace that emphasizes respect, teamwork and personal and professional growth, ABC Technologies offers a broad range of health, wellness and financial benefits that promote the physical, mental and financial wellbeing of our employees and help them bring their best self to work, including: Competitive compensation package2 weeks of paid timeEmployee Group BenefitsEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramRRSP/DPSP Company MatchTax Free Savings AccountEducational Assistance ProgramWorkperksVehicle Purchase DiscountsEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramSocial events throughout the yearInternal job opportunities APPLICATION PROCESS:Please submit your application to by 19th of March 2021.
