Bilingual Customer Data (Pricing) Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Hamilton, ON posted August 24, 2021.

Primary Function: Responsible for executing Grainger Canada’s pricing strategy, across customer segments, for individual customer opportunities.

Ensure the alignment to our go-to-market strategy and pricing strategy is clearly aligned to the company growth and profitability goals.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Develop pricing offers in response to customer’s Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) that are aligned to Grainger’s pricing strategy Deliver pricing guidance on individual large customer opportunities (contract and non-contract pricing) in collaboration with Pricing Strategy, Commitment Management and Finance Liaison and subject matter expert for the pricing execution team working with key business partners: Sales, Commitment Management, Cross-Referencing, Product Management and Finance Actively participate in the Deal Review and pricing strategy meetings to discuss customer opportunities Preferred Education & Experience: Post-secondary education in Business Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and Access; programming gin Visual Basic and SQL an asset Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proven time management and prioritization skills; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to draw insight from data French bilingualism is required Grainger strives to be an employer of choice, to attract and retain top diverse talent, and to provide a safe and positive work environment for all of its team members.
