We are seen as one of the most successful plans in Canada…and we’re growingWe are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Associate to join our expanding Member & Employer Onboarding team for an 18-month contract.

In this role, you will develop and utilize new tools to properly value benefits and measure risks in non-routine situations.

You will support the Growth Team in performing actuarial projections, analysis, and due diligence related to pension plan mergers.

You will act as the main point of contact in guiding employers through the onboarding process in a timely manner, including responsibility for project planning, leading meetings, documentation, procedures, and customer service required to onboard employers.

You will be involved in a range of day-to-day tasks, internal projects, and special activities associated with the Plan’s growth initiative.

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:Problem solver with excellent skills in documentation and follow-upCustomer service and project management experience is preferableExceptional interpersonal skills (effectively interact with internal and external parties)Accountability takes ownership of personal workload and performs tasks to completion within deadlinesAgile mindset, open and accepting of change and can adapt to varying states of ambiguityProblem solver always looking to improve current practicesGood communication skills (both written and oral) Your University Degree (e.G.

majoring in actuarial science, statistics, or mathematics) and/or College diploma and/or a combination of equivalent training, education, and experience, as well as, 5-8 years of experience in an pension industry, and nearing Fellow, Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA)/Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or demonstrated equivalent education/experience makes you an ideal candidate.You must also have thorough understanding of pension calculations and strong Excel skills as well as, experience working with valuation and projection software such as ProVal.
