As part of this, he or she establishes effective communications with suppliers to ensure prompt handling of quality issues.

Responsibilities: Support purchasing and engineering in the development and selection of suppliers.

Lead and collaborate on supplier manufacturing evaluations.

Monitor suppliers during design with an APQP Advanced Product Quality Planning approach.

Participate, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, in the Review technical specifications (RTS) and plan the submission of the production part approval process (PPAP) with the supplier, follow up, ensure that deadlines are met and provide approval to the supplier to start production.

Identify potential risks in supplier manufacturing processes and make improvements to reduce these risks.

Manage the overall supplier performance evaluation system and participate in the establishment of supplier objectives.

Require action plans for recurring quality or process issues.

Manage Suppliers process audit remotely or on site.

Support the production line in the event of a major quality crisis related to supplier responsibility.

Participate with the multidisciplinary team responsible for resolving service quality problems.

Education and experience: Bachelor of Engineering.

7 years of relevant experience in quality, ideally with suppliers.

Experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector.
