Job Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer.

Reporting directly to the co-founders, the COO’s main responsibilities will be to implement initiatives and projects that support the overall vision of Kimoby, and make sure that the operations are in line with those initiatives.

The COO will oversee the operations and structure of various departments, including Finance, Legal, Customer Success, and HR.

The COO should be highly motivated and action-oriented to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

What we expect of you: In 3 months: You’ve met with every employee of the company and integrated well into the team.

You understand the company’s needs, and you’re thinking about ways of developing your main areas of responsibility.

You should already have implemented a few improvements (small wins).

In 6 months: You’ve taken ownership of your areas of responsibility.

You take initiative and implement projects aligned to the global business strategy and vision.

Main responsibilities Complement and execute the co-founders’ vision by setting and driving operational strategy, and being a leading ambassador of Kimoby’s vision, values, and business strategy.

Help co-founders manage the company’s growth and lead the team through resulting changes.

Take over the business’s operations by overseeing project guidelines, employee productivity, and ensuring that organizational outcomes are met.

Take ownership of HR, Customer Success, and Finance departments.

Foresee needs and issues that might arise from company growth and implement sustainable solutions.

Candidate profile Minimum 10 years of proven management experience in a fast-paced, data-driven, and high-performance environment, preferably in a technology environment.

Extensive experience in scaling up companies.

Strong hands-on experience in field projects with the ability to execute appropriate strategies.

Experience in legal and finance (budgets, grants, subsidies, tax compliance, etc.).

Proven ability to analyze business processes and needs, and take action for improvement.

Agile, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Proven leadership abilities, and ability to lead while serving.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Coaching and coordination skills.
