(1) $24.87 Max (18) $43.06SHIFT: DayHOURS PER DAY/WEEK: 7.00/35.00SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONPerson, who designs, analyses, assesses and applies professional techniques in the field of human resources, with a view to ensuring optimal performance.SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS (FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY):She/ he advises and supports managers on the interpretation and application of collective agreements; She / he participates in the entire investigation process: information gathering, information analysis and decision making; She / he takes care of drafting disciplinary measures and ensures follow-up with managers; She / he participates in conflict management and supports managers in their interventions; She / he participates in labor relations committees and negotiates employer / union agreements, such as letters of agreement and grievance settlement; She/he providesadvice concerning the improvement of labour relations team activities.Education: Bachelor’s degree in administration, human resources, industrial relations, law or another university appropriate discipline; Member ofOrdre des conseillers en ressources humaines du Québec – CRHA (CRI, IRC, CIRC, CHRP) or a Canadian Law Society is an asset.Experience:Three (3) years of relevant experience in Labour Relations.Knowledge and Abilities:Good knowledge of MSSS legislation, regulations, the Ministry Network and programs, and current trends; Extensive knowledge of planning and research methods, statistical analysis, information systems and evaluation; Knowledge of First Nation health/social service models, trends and issues is an asset; Knowledge of Cree culture, language, and social/health issues in Eeyou Istchee is an asset; Strong record in a similar type of planning, programming, research or evaluation environment; Ability to workin collaboration with all colleagues; Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership and teamwork skills; Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation; Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, planning and decision‑making skills; Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Language:Fluent in English and French; Fluency in Creeis an asset.

Other:Willing to travel on the Cree communities of James BayABOUT US: The Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay is responsible for providing health and social services for all persons residing permanently or temporarily in the Eeyou Istchee region, the Cree Territory of James Bay.

It is a remote region in northern Quebec made up of ninecommunities of the Cree Nation, an Indigenous population of nearly 18,000people.The health and social services offered are front-line services provided in the ninelocal CMCs as well as second‑line services through the regional hospital centre in Chisasibi.

When second and third-‑line services cannot be provided in the community, patients are transported to institutions affiliated with McGill University’s Réseau Universitaire Intégré de Santé(RUIS).
