Job DescriptionWorking across a broad range of technologies and with a number of clients the senior sys admin is responsible for completing end to end implementations and resolving complex and challengin problems.The Senior System Admin will have a depth of skills in both Windows Server environments and network technologies including firewalls, VPN’s and technologies like VLAN.

They will also serve as an escalation point for other issues within the Client Experience team.ResponsibilitiesTake the lead in the setup, configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, VPN’s and other networking equipment.Setup, configure and migration of client workloads to Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.Troubleshooting tickets related to SharePoint and Office 365 environments as well as existing Citrix, Hyper-V and clustered server environments.Implement new server environments both on premise and in Microsoft Azure.Resolve issues remotely or at client onsite locations as requiredDocument all work performedEnsure documentation is current and relevant.RequirementsCompletion of post-secondary education in IT/Computer Science or equivalent with 7 years experience.Experience with various firewall brands, preferably with Sophos XG firewalls.Demonstrated experience with SharePoint and Office 365 environments.Demonstrated understanding of Windows server operating systems Including Windows Server 2012 and 2016.Ability to evaluate server performance and correct issues found.Experience with Backup Systems, preferably with Datto.Experience with Windows Patch Management systemsBehavioral CompetenciesExcellent troubleshooting / problem solving skillsConsistent excellence in customer serviceAbility to work within a team environmentAttention to detailExcellent communication skillsAdaptabilityPersistenceTime Management
