Applications are being received for the position of Equipment Purchasing Coordinator at our Home Office.

This position is responsible for providing support of the day-to-day functions for the Fixture Procurement Team.

This position is also responsible for taking on the fixture replenishment purchase requests for our network of Retail Stores, Distribution Centres and Home Office.

The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers.

All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.Major Responsibilities:Responsible for preparing and issuing fixture replenishment purchase requests for our network of Retail Stores and Central Facilities and ensuring each request is tracked from order issuing through to payment.Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers for equipment and services delivery coordination.Research and keep informed of new equipment and most recent technologies and recommend new sources of procurement best practices.Provide support to the Procurement Team to resolve and reconcile invoices and PO issues.Liaise with the Procurement and Finance Teams to ensure all PO’s are closed accurately and in a timely manner.Files damage claims with freight companies or vendors as required.Perform financial and accounting analysis and coding of capital expenditures.Communicate with other cross functional team within the organization, including Construction, Store Planning, Facilities Maintenance and Cap Ex teams.Support and maintain tracking spreadsheets for all cross functional teams.Provide support to the Equipment Purchasing Manager with preparing preventive Maintenance Service Contracts for new and existing stores, Central Facilities and Home Office.Issue Work Orders and maintain the preventive Maintenance Service Contracts schedules for new and existing stores, Central Facilities and Home Office.

May be required to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Typically requires completion of a post-secondary degree in a Procurement or Administration related field plus a minimum of 3 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures, supplies and materials utilized in the grocery industry and maintenance operations.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.Must be able to work independently, as well as support peers, and work in a team environment.Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.Knowledge of AccPac an asset.Fluency in English and French shall be considered an asset.Accommodation is available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.
