Huntel Global: Senior Asic Verification Engineer

Would you be interested in participating in the success of a semiconductors company made in Quebec?

As a Senior ASIC Test Engineer, you will work with partners across the world as well as local and international teams of engineering.

You will be instrumental in the testing, verification and qualification of their new chips dedicated to the autonomous automotive industry.

It is a complex mixed-signal device (80% analog, 20% digital).You will mainly work in English as per the company’s partners, working closely with their supplier in Europe and internalizing future projects.

You will need to perform some physical testing in their brand-new lab in Montreal where the testing platform is developed and can work remotely otherwise.

It is a very hands-on technical role, knowing that there is room for growth if you would like to become a team leader in the future, as the team will expand in the following years.

For now, you will be the reference in terms of ASIC testing and verification across the company.

You will work under the supervision of the Director of Microelectronics Engineering within a team of 10 people and be given full autonomy and independence in your daily activities as well as the ability to be a change agent.Believe it or not, but you have a chance to shape tomorrow’s transportation services within a nimble high-growth company.

To perform well within this job, you will need to:Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in ASIC verification and testing (lab and manufacturing).Have strong programming skills either with Python, C, C++ or LabVIEW as you will be hands-on.Having excellent communication skills in English as you will interact with various internal and external stakeholders across the world.Being experienced working with analog devices (signal processing).Don’t worry about the tools and the work environment, the company will provide you with all the tools and licenses needed to be efficient.

It is 40-hours a week schedule.
