About the role We are currently looking for a Senior IT Technical Advisor specialist for Workstations & Virtual environment that posses a Citrix, Windows and Linux background to join the End User Computing team and play a crucial role in Intact’s growth.

You will provide support, coaching and technology leadership to project delivery teams as they develop end to end solutions, and integrations to services supporting our ever-evolving ecosystem and cloud environments.

You will have key involvement in building our initiatives and in providing expertise and counsel ensuring technology teams and business areas understand the architectural designs and technology choices in support of their business.

In this role, you will also work directly with Architects, to ensure a strategic roadmap is defined, and will work with our technical team to define the tactical roadmap to achieve our end state.

This role will also have a focus on our Data Room & Cloud environment services through AWS, Azure and possibly Citrix.

You must possess a balanced mix of technical and business skills, as you will often work with business and technical leaders in the organization.

This role requires leadership and involvement in all stages of the solution definition, from the conceptual architecture creation to the solution development and definition, and even more specific areas depending on skills and interests.

What you’ll do here: As a central player within the team, facilitate solution & product definition within the company: Requirement analysis Solution Design with Architecture Document solution Problem solving with the different teams Implementation follow up Participate in product selection when a new product or technology is required Participate in the development of standard & patterns definition with architects Facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of software and hardware technology as well as product standards, including the design of standard configurations.

Assist the enterprise architect to define metrics to measure and demonstrate enterprise technology value Assist Infrastructure Architecture to manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope of projects, and work along side with the architects that manage and design architecture for a single project or initiative.

Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies, or misalignment with business requirements.

Assist & Contribute to the evolution of the Technology Portfolio from future to current.

Liaise with the business and your team to review solutions Participate in the development of roadmaps & strategies.

Make sure the goals of the business are aligned with the appropriate solutions and that we are making an impact and adding value for our organization Develop Tactical roadmaps for our products based on the Strategic roadmaps defined with Architecture Act as a technical mentor among the operational/tactical teams Assist the Architecture team in the development to define business vision and communicate to all stakeholders Collaborate with business constituents, EA team members, project teams and staff in various IT functional areas as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above.

What you bring to the table: Expert knowledge of running Windows Virtual Desktop on Azure and AWS workspace platforms 5 years in Azure & AWS cloud virtualized environments Some experience at producing multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in an Enterprise & cloud environment adhering to DR, Business Continuity and availability best practice Proven experience with Azure and AWS IaaS, Azure Active Directory & Group Policy, ARM Templates, PowerShell scripting and Linux.

Experience of Windows Modern Management (Intune, Autopilot, Windows Virtual Desktop, etc.) Experience in managing cloud risk & compliance assessments with the customer Proven experience with high-available systems within the financial services sector Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations University Degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any equivalent combination of education and experience LI-IT LI-Hybrid What we offer Working here means you’ll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
