Junior Estimator

We are currently looking for a full time Junior Estimator to join our growing team Reporting directly to the Leader
– Estimating, the Junior Estimator will be responsible for estimating public and private tenders and project manage the tenders that they win.

Responsibilities include: Leadership & Goal Setting Continually work with our team to identify future opportunities and continue to think ahead on how to improve the company.

Estimating and Contract Administration Estimate private tenders and quotes through B2W Estimate software.

Manage the estimating process, including quantity take offs, costing of labour, equipment and materials, and tender preparation.

Project manage your won projects.

Coordinate and attend field visits and pre-tender meetings.

Assist Site Supervisor with minor scheduling of asphalt paving, grading, concrete and landscape crews, as necessary.

Contract administer the projects, including preparation of contracts and purchase orders, tracking project costs, attending site meetings, ordering materials, client invoicing, dispute resolution, and other related project management tasks.

Liaise with Clients, Consulting Engineers, General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Municipalities, and Regulatory Agencies.

Demonstrate your Leadership potential by assisting the Contract Administration team and Project Management team with individual project issues.
