Your role : The primary function of the Plumbing Pro is to serve as the store expert on plumbing related merchandise.

This includes providing both customers and employees with comprehensive information on plumbing-related merchandise, assisting customers in assembling, cutting, selecting, and loading merchandise, and training associates in the department.

The Plumbing Pro is responsible for promoting Lowe’s services and maximizing potential sales by explaining features, creating quotes, and selling installations.

The Plumbing Pro is also responsible for managing inventory levels and pricing documentation to support sales and ensuring products are stocked and displayed according to standards.

The Plumbing Pro also follows up with customers and vendors based on jobs and materials sold to ensure all project requirements are satisfied, and pulls merchandise for internet orders.

The Plumbing Pro is also required to maintain the safety and security of the store.

Lastly, the Plumbing Pro is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.

Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.

Required to work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and business needs, but may be changed by store management based on the needs of the store.

Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor.

Hourly Full Time, Part Time or Seasonal: Generally scheduled 40, 24 to 30, or 0 to 40 hours per week respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.

This position reports to an Assistant Store Manager and takes daily direction from a Department Manager.

This position does not have direct reports.

Exigences du poste The qualifications we are looking for : 1 year experience selling plumbing supplies.

2 years experience working as a plumber in industry.

2 years trade or vocational school in the plumbing trade.

1 year experience working with contractors in a sales role or in the field.

6 months retail sales experience.

License or certification in the plumbing trade.

License or certification as a plumbing inspector.

Lifts up to 40 pounds daily without assistance; may lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance.

The Plumbing Pro may be required to perform job activities, with appropriate intermittent relief where applicable, under difficult work conditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, while exposed to constant/intermittent sounds (if applicable).
