Methods & Tools Technical Lead Position Type:Full TimeLocation:Waterloo Office Job Summary: As aTechnical Lead on the Methods and Tools team you will help usimplementsolutions tobusiness needsthat combine process with technology.In this role you will workwithstakeholders frommultipleorganizations to plan and executethechanges required to keep our tool setand processesin line with our business objectives.Whether itisevolvingwhatalreadyexists,implementing somethingnew,orsunsetting something old,the methods and tools landscape isalways changing,and we are lookingfor someone to help us navigate that change.

·Review requests for newtools.

Decide how to proceed with requestsand communicate with stakeholders.
·Identifystakeholders for tool changes from across the organizationandgather inputsto definebusinessrequirements andexpected outcomes for new tools.
·Review potential solutions to business needstodecide onthe best solution to meetstakeholder and company needs.
·Ensure the successful introduction of new tools and processesbydefining and documentingroles and responsibilitiesand standards of usethat meet identified business requirements.
·Work with vendors and/or partners to defineimplementation and communication plans.
·Track and communicate progress of implementationwith stakeholders.
·Createoperation and support proceduresfor newtools and services.
·Propose improvementsto existing processesandtools.Required Skills/Experience:
·Experience runninga variety of softwareservicesinproduction
·Solidexperienceplanning andexecutingchanges to productionenvironments
·Proven experienceworkingon projectswith multiplestakeholders
·Some experience withIT infrastructureandIaCwould be anasset
·Experiencewriting, documenting and improvingprocess andprocedures
·Solution-driven with strong problem-solvingskills
·Able to organize and prioritize tasksin line with team andcompany
·Build an understanding ofstakeholdergoals andneedsthroughactivelistening
·Able topresenttechnicalandnon-technical subject mattertoa variety ofaudiences
·Canwork withmultiple stakeholders to buildconsensus
·Comfortablecommunicating ata number oflevels (developer, product, executive)
·Experience with AWS or similar cloud technology
·Basic networking communications understanding
·Experienced in Software development lifecycle
·Experience with Software development automation tools (CI/CD)
·Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace office tools Nice-to-Haves:
·AWSCloud PractitionerCertification Qualifications:
·University degree inComputer Science or related field
