– Interbank Offered Rate Project: UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that after 2021 it would no longer compel panel banks to submit the rates required to calculate the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR), triggering an industry wide transition away from LIBOR and other interbank offered rates (IBORs) to risk-free overnight rates (RFRs) Bank has created an enterprise-wide program and governance structure to prepare for the transition from LIBORs to RFRs Transition challenges and risks have been outlined and mitigation to key risks have been identified Bank has USD $13.0 trillion notional referencing IBOR across all currencies and segments of the organization, which the various businesses must transition away via a variety of methods Depending on the client there will be different types of approaches required along with specific transition concerns Role: The role operates within the Portfolio & Change Management (PCM) group and will function primarily as a Business Analyst (BA) and/or Project Manager (PM) on the IBOR Transition initiative across the Business & Client Services (BCS) department where project drivers include: Business or Process improvements, technology enhancement or system implementations, operational risk reduction, quality improvement, regulatory soundness, cost reduction, etc.

The project work will be specific to the swaps industry IBOR Transition to risk-free overnight rates The incumbent will work directly with relevant participants to define project parameters, success criteria, solutions, and timelines while deploying best practices in process analysis, requirements documentation, project planning, testing, and stakeholder communication Senior Business Analyst

– IBOR Transition – Mandatory Skills 6 years of Business Analyst Experience Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Finance, Engineering, Science or Math desirable Firm understanding of Capital markets trade flows and previous experience working on CM Project; especially experience with IBOR Transition to RFR’s and the impact to upstream and downstream operations teams and upcoming CDOR benchmark Must be a great communicator and able to manage multiple stakeholders Relevant industry experience with an emphasis on Interest Rate Derivatives products and market practices Good working knowledge of Capital Markets operational functions and processes Detailed understanding of the fundamentals of Capital Markets trading and the transaction lifecycle Detailed understanding of Capital Markets organizational structure (front office sales and trading, middle office, product control, BCS, regulatory/compliance, etc.) Knowledge of various systems: Rates Infinity, Murex, Swapswire/MarkitWire, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, Xceptor preferred JIRA/Confluence Familiarity with regional differences in operational processing within Capital Markets Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.) Senior Business Analyst
