This includes testing RF equipment, Network Equipment and other Integrated Software systems.Develop/review Test Plans, Test Reports.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for writing/reviewing and maintaining test plans.Responsible for executing and development of Test scripts/Test ReportsResponsible for developing various Test Tools for automation.Support Test efforts in the Lab and in the field.Raise Defects and help trouble shoot problems in the Leo System.Travel expected to various Teleports and Partner locations.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDB.

Sc.

in Electrical, Computer or System EngineeringKnowledge of radio communication systems and/or satellite communication desirableKnowledge of programming languages desirable Specialized Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesCreative problem-solver with thorough attention to detail.Ability to develop test scripts using Python, Perl or other scripting languagesBasic understanding of Telecom protocols.Understanding with network layer 2 to 7 traffic generation and tools.Familiar with different operating systems, routing and networking protocols.The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP).
