5G R&D Project Assistant / Junior Project Manager

It’s a fascinating field of work. You will be involved in assessing the competition, developing technology and products and generating intellectual property. Your contributions will drive product architecture and implementation in support of building something from the ground up, all while working with colleagues across the business to ensure Dell products always lead the way.

Join us as Project Assistant / Junior Project Manager to take part in a once in a career opportunity to be part of building something from scratch and shepherding it into the marketplace. Work with leadership / program & project managers / product owners /engineering teams – document and follow up on process, structures, communication, and tasks with team members.

What you'll achieve

You will manage tasks and documentation for parts of development and team activities. Identify quality & compliance gaps within solution or processes, formulate solutions, implement required process, communication, or reporting changes and control and communicate those changes across the organization managing impact.

You Will

  • Participate on design, documentation and implementation of new engineering development lifecycle processes

  • Facilitate flow of essential information among program team members – including repositories for all project information.

  • Assist in the maintenance and reporting of project schedule and milestones and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their associated dashboards to monitor progress

  • Identify trends and shifts in execution patterns to predict and manage team deliverables.

  • Act on user feedback for continual refinement of tools and processes.

  • Work with program & project management leads, to develop and administer reports on relevant processes

  • In collaboration with others, interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings

  • Communicate technical issues / planned or unplanned environment downtime to stakeholders through proper communication channels

  • Work closely with Program leaders to define and analyze detailed tasks and manage to delivery

Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

  • Organized, detail – oriented

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal presentations in English

  • 3+ Experience within complex project environment – documentation, ad hoc reports, graphs, and presentations

  • Experience with project reporting tools such as PowerBI and Tableau

Desirable Requirements

  • JIRA experience

  • Best practices process creation for project management and associated development tooling
