ENERGY TRANSPORTATION GROUP: Class 1 Long Distance Truck Driver


This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted February 25, 2021.

ENERGY FRESH EXPRESS is currently seeking Class-1 Drivers dedicated to continuing our growth.

We are looking for skilled truck drivers (solo or team) that have experience with cross-border travel.Our ideal candidate understands the importance of attention to detail and is ready to uphold ENERGY TRANSPORTATION GROUP’S commitment to safety and service.

Our candidate must be eager to grow alongside our rapidly growing company.Responsibilities Transport various goods and materials to and from manufacturing plants, retail, and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, safety issues and perform basic preventive maintenance Plan routes, meet delivery schedules and report defects, accidents or violations Document and log work/rest periods, kilometers spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts Input trip data into our electronic log device (ISAAC) for each stage of the loading and unloading process Comply with all applicable driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Requirements Valid truck driving license – Class 1 Proven work experience as a truck driver (2 years minimum cross-border experience) Complete knowledge of applicable and current truck driving rules and regulations No DUI’s in the past 10 years No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years No violations of carelessness, recklessness, excessive speed, or following too close within recent months (pending review of driver abstract) No more than 2 chargeable accidents in the last 7 years Not cited for a D.O.T.
