Job Description: Position Summary:UPS is looking for individuals who enjoy working in a physical fast-paced outdoor environment that involves delivering packages to our customers in Chatham Ontarioand surrounding nearby areas.

Applicants must have excellent customer contact and driving skills.

Qualified applicants must have a valid G or higher license issued in the province of Ontario.

Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines.

New drivers could cover multiple areas so area knowledge is an asset as well as the ability to read a map.

Compensation:$17.00 per hour to start (wage progression per Collective Agreement) Top rate $31.79(seniority + 48 months)Paid weekly via direct depositPaid trainingEmployee discountsShift:Start time between09:00 AM and 10:00 AMFinish time will vary daily depending on volume (5 to 10 hours per day)Monday to Friday 5 days a week (subject to change to Tuesday to Saturday as volume increasesRequirements:Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

(35kg) without assistance and 150 lbs.

(68kg) with assistanceAbility to read and navigate with map booksValid Ontario G licenseClean Driver’s Abstract showing:a) No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3 year period (last 36 months)b) No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3 year period (last 36 months)The delivery experience will be an asset EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCEAbility to lift up to 70 lbsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMinimum 21 years of agePossession of a valid G driver’s licenseNo at-fault accidents within the last 3 years noviolations within the last 12 monthsStrong customer service skills UPS Canada is a diverse and equal opportunity employer.
