Job Overview Brand Manager – Crush, Dr Pepper & Schweppes The successful candidate will lead all marketing efforts for the Crush, Dr Pepper and Schweppes brand portfolio.

Defining strategies and implementing the annual brand marketing plans, you will play a key role in driving relevance with consumers to maximize growth potential for this portfolio in both the short and long term.

What you will do: Define and deploy the brand vision, value proposition and strategy to deliver the short and long-term business objectives.

Translate the brand strategy into actionable commercial plans to drive sustained brand health.

Lead brand positioning and architecture refinement leveraging market research and consumer insights.

Holistically own the creative development process across all aspects of the media landscape resulting in motivating advertising copy.

Effectively manage agency partners to ensure successful development and execution of plans within the established commercial planning cycles.

Create and cultivate effective working relationships with the internal cross-functional teams including: PASO sales, Insights, Innovation, R&D, Regulatory and Finance.

Lead and execute the innovation agenda for the Crush, Dr Pepper and Schweppes brands to deliver against revenue and profit targets – from insight to strategy, and concept to commercialization.

Leverage competitive, category, consumer, shopper, and retailer insights to validate and identify new opportunities.

Develop and manage the multi-million-dollar budget for this highly visible portfolio with P&L accountability.

Measure the performance and efficacy of all campaigns and tactics through the use of analytics.

Optimize and enhance plans to maximize delivery against revenue and profit targets.

Requirements Education & experience Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business or a related field Minimum 7 years’ work experience or equivalent; brand marketing experience preferred Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to thrive in and handle ambiguity & fast paced environment Demonstrated analytic and creative thinking skills Strong business acumen and marketing capabilities Ability to foster and maintain strong cross functional partnership skills, with a team first mentality Skills & capabilities Strong working knowledge and understanding of the Canadian CPG/FMCG industry; Strong communication and presentation skills; Project management, time management and organizational skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); Attention to detail and quality; Analytical and critical thinking skills; Independent and dynamic, enjoys and does well working in a team; Goal and results oriented; Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment; Nielsen is an asset.
