Director, HR Systems & Transformation

JO: 18061 Deadline to Apply: 2023-02-12 The Director, HR Systems and Transformation provides strategic leadership to the Hospital’s Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), Employee Records, Payroll, Human Resources Support functions of Human Resources Assistants, aSK HR (a customer service function for employees and external job applicants), and HR Business Controls.

Accountabilities include: Lead the development of the HR Transformation strategic roadmap to enhance the functionality of HR systems and processes.

The roadmap is aligned to the Hospital’s and HR’s strategic directions, with specific objectives to add value through increased productivity, technology integration, enhanced user experience and service, and improved risk mitigation, controls and compliance functions.

Develop the strategy for the Hospital’s Master Employee Records File, including associated staff not on payroll.

Responsible for the development of policies and processes for the recordkeeping of employee information, ensuring that systems, procedures, and appropriate standards exist for accurate and auditable storage and retrieval of employee information.

Accountable for Hospital Payroll processes and systems that are accurate, timely, auditable and meet all legislative requirements.

Through the HRMS, Employee Records and Payroll teams meet ongoing production responsibilities and new requests for HR Information.

Lead the ongoing review of the HRMS, Payroll and Employee Records procedures, which includes the establishment of an HR-wide audit and control framework.

What do you bring to the role?

10 years’ experience leading complex projects and teams; Human Resource operations experience in a managerial role; knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft environment, with interfaces to related HR systems.

Demonstrated track record of developing and leading the implementation of human resources strategies in a similar sized and highly complex organization.

Ability to balance and integrate the needs of clients, with often competing priorities, into strategies and solutions that align with the Hospital’s strategic directions.

Exemplary communication, interpersonal and listening skills; experience successfully supporting a diverse internal customer base by learning and understanding their business objectives and goals Able to establish credibility and working-relationships at all levels of the organization, with a solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.

Demonstrated change management leadership skills, including conducting systems, business and financial risk assessments, and communicating change to key stakeholders.

Business degree; Bachelor level, and CHRP designation.
